ROLE AS A CHILD COUNSELLOR

Children must be taught how to think, not what to think” – Margaret Mead, American cultural anthropologist
Neeta undertook Montessori education and even worked in a reputed Montessori school to gain first-hand, relevant experience before starting her own venture in the form of Wings. Being armed with appropriate training in Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test (DMIT) has helped her understand each student’s psyche and learning abilities better.
Neeta has also proved her mettle as a very efficient and effective child counsellor in her broad and daily interaction with children. Mentoring children is what she thrives on. She has shaped the future of many children by addressing and helping them manage not only their academics but also their social, behavioural and emotional issues. Believing in the theory that every child has the right to free education, Neeta uses all her experience and her strong connections in the child care and education industry in her training and counselling of youngsters.

“Part on children with special needs: changed it from yesterdays “-

Neeta believes in education for all and has offered her tutelage to children with special needs such as cerebral palsy, ADHD, speech disorders, early autism, etc.

Her in-depth proficiency in DMIT allows her to identify the cognitive and motor abilities of children who are differently-abled or suffer from learning disabilities. She thus accordingly advises the teaching methods designed to fulfil their preliminary needs.

Neeta says, “My greatest wish is to truly make a difference in the lives of special children by providing them with the right form of education that is tailormade for them.”
